The Japan Years

A compilation of three separate albums, these songs cover the years Shareen performed and recorded in Japan.  The songs take you on a journey through the early years of performing folk and soft country music in clubs to her subsequent involvement with the World Peace Organization, culminating in her 1984 Japan National Peace Tour where she performed on all 3 islands (21 concerts in 24 days) with such well known Japanese artists as Kamijo and Eigo Kawashima.  Shareen wrote and performed the theme song for that year "Never Again" to a crowd in Hiroshima Peace Park of over 30,000 people, representing more than 30 countries. Just released for the first time in CD format. This Cd includes a special new song dedicated to her friend, Eigo Kawashima, who died in 2006.
